How to hack Symbian^3 - Symbian^4 Smart Phones using Norton Symbian Hack?

Previously we had Dr Web's and UMU Mobile Security Hacking Methods for Symbian, that helped to remove certificate errors and enable installation of unsigned apps / games. Now here comes Norton Symbian Hack by CoDeRus.


1. Install  1. (N8FanClub.com)NortonSymbianHack_S60v3_s60v5_S^3_S^4.sisx

You might encounter Application not Compatible error, just ignore that and continue with the installation process.

2. Launch  Norton

3. Go Options- Anti-Virus - Quarantine list


4. Go Options - Click on Restore All to restore 3 files, accept prompt


5. Exit application, delete from App manager (Symantec Symbian Hack).
6. Install 2. (N8FanClub.com)RomPatcherPlus_3.1_LiteVersion.sisx from the download package below.
7. Launch and apply the patch:
- Open4all for full access to system folders (private, sys, resource ...)

THIS STEP WILL REMOVE CERTIFICATE ERRORS
8. Now copy "N8FanClub.com_Install Server 1.7 RP+.rmp" (inside download package) to E:/Patches  via Y-Browser and apply it from ROM Patcher, and voila there will be no more certificate errors / expired certificate errors / update errors and you'll be able to install all unsigned apps / games. (Works perfect on Symbian Belle & Nokia Belle FP1)



THE STEP GIVEN BELOW WILL NOT BE WORKING ON NOKIA BELLE FP1 FIRMWARE

This step will fix up Component Built In Error / Update Error (Update error can also be fixed by removing any previous version of the app, while if that app is in ROM, you will be required to follow step 9 below.)
9. Copy SYS folder (inside download package) to root C:/ via X-plore (inside download pacckage) (make sure to tick show hidden and system files as shown below) and voila there will be no more certificate errors / expired certificate errors / update errors and you'll be able to install all unsigned apps / games.

Note: Modded installserver.exe will no longer work on Belle FP1 & onward firmwares.
X-plore File Manager is also not working at the moment for Nokia Belle FP1 Firmware.
