Bookmark this page and come back to it every time you start to forget what to do.How to stretch for the windmill
Before you learn how to windmill, you need to realize you need to stretch before every practice session. You are going to stretch for two reasons- 1) so you don't hurt yourself 2) so you get more flexible for your windmills to look better. The more flexible you are, the better your windmills look. The most important stretch is the side splits stretch. One way to do this is: sit on the floor with your legs extended in front of you, then spread your legs as wide as you can. Then bring your head close to the floor by bending at your waist-not your back. Hold this for 40 seconds. Try to bring your head closer to the floor everyday and spread your legs wider. You will be more flexible after only a week so keep practicing.
