study 720. kick.

why I love this trick:It's got classic roots. No fear factor. It's a pretty safe trick overall. It looks more complicated than it really is. It feels really good. And hey, not many people bother with this trick. I love the 720 double. What you need:Having a strong 360 kick, cheat 720 kick, and double leg will help your 720 double more than anything. The 360 kick will polish your first kick and takeoff. The cheat 720 kick will teach you to "pump" your non-kicking leg (that is, if you pump your cheat 720 kicks). The double leg, using the same takeoff as the 360 kick but requiring more force, is a good tool for training your takeoff power. You would think that the 720 kick would be a prerequisite for the 720 double, but I don't feel it has ever helped me.

study 540. kick.

Before I tell the story of the 540 kick or share footage and secret tips, I willgive you the Cliff Notes version of the 540 kick in 100 words. The 540 kick is a tornado kick landed on the kicking leg. You jump, kick, and land all on the same leg. The average novice can learn this trick within a one to four month time span. Start by drilling inside crescent kicks and tornado kicks. Increase your flexibility. Experiment with the takeoff and kick style (roundhouse or inside crescent). Watch 540 video clips and emulate what you see. Progress into trying to land the 540 while keeping your kicking leg bent (bent knee 540 kick). Train both the tornado kick and bent knee 540 until you succeed. Don't give up!
