stuffs for APRIL FOOL!.

Happy April Fool’s Day, Muses! Whether you’re plotting what pranks to play on your friends today, or wondering if it’s a joke that Monday morning is less than 20 hours away we’ve got what you need to make today a little bit better. Play some pranks, make some sweet earrings, and have way more fun than anyone watching the Final Four championships by playing these great brackets.

Giggle Office Pranks

Though April Fool’s Day is technically today, who says you can’t play a belated prank on your co-workers tomorrow? Check out Happy Office Pranks, which has several ready-made pranks to deliver to your boss’ or co-worker’s inbox. Think: inviting your co-workers to “Employee Hug Hour” and thanking your boss for the sweet bonus that just arrived in your bank account.

Make Feather Earrings

I know, we’ve told you how much we love Hello Brit before. But come on, how could we not show you these DIY neon duct tape feather earrings? And how could you not drop everything and make them right now? (Assuming, of course, you have a Home Depot somewhere nearby, and assuming that said Home Depot carries neon duct tape. Although according to this article, “tie dye duct tape totally exists.”)

Play Better Brackets

Is your March Madness bracket totally over? That’s OK. Whether you’re tuning in to the Final Four this weekend or not, choose a bracket from Bracketwinners and play that with your friends instead. You can pick the winners on anything from movie dogs to types of sausage to bad Weezer lyrics to things no one likes. Want even more fun? Check out Jezebel’s chocolate bracket.

Watch Gender Remixer

If you haven’t seen toy commercials in a while (I hadn’t), you sort of forget the messages that are being sent to kids. Well, Gender Remixer reminds us—those ads are full of stereotypes, and actually pretty ridiculous ones.
The an app takes the sound from a toy commercial geared toward girls and mashes it with the video of one geared toward boys (or vice versa). So what do you get? Totally absurd commercials like Star Wars’ characters blowing things up to the giggles of Betty Spaghetti, or My Little Ponies blasting things into oblivion. After you’ve had some fun playing (and getting sort of angry), check out SPARK Summit, an organization who’s working to change these stereotypes, one toy aisle at a time.
