BSNL GPRS | MMS | WAP | 3G Settings
 

Activate GPRS | MMS | 3G:
To activate GPRS, MMS , 3G service just sms GPRS to 53733 .This is only for prepaid customers. 

Postpaid customers need to submit a written request for activating GPRS.

To get GPRS settings on your mobile handset follow one of the below method
 
Automatic GPRS | MMS | 3G Setting:


To receive GPRS Settings automatically on  your Mobile:
Just SMS your mobile model number to 58355
For nokia n73 mobile

SMS Nokia N73 to 58355

Nokia N73

Immediately you will be receiving settings through sms.
Save that sms
Pin - 1111
To get it activated, just reboot your handset



Manual GPRS | MMS Configuration:


We can manually enable GPRS with the below mentioned access point details. This configuration details can be used for Nokia, Samsung, LG and all other mobile phones.
For Nokia mobiles go to - settings - connection - Access Points - option - new access poing
and enter the below mentioned configuration details

Manual GPRS Setting:

    Connection Name = bnslnet(or anything)
    Data Bearer          = GPRS
    Access point name       = bsnlnet 
    User Name = none
    Password = No
    Authentication = Normal


Manual WAP Settings:

    Connection Name = bnslwap(or anything)
    Data Bearer          = GPRS
    Access point name       = bsnlwap
    User Name = none
    Password = No
    Authentication = Normal 

    Homepage = http://wap.google.com


Manual MMS Settings:
  Connection name – bsnlmms
  Data bearer - GPRS
  APN GPRS : bsnlmms
  Username - nil
  Prompt Password - No
  Password – nil
  Authentication - Normal
  Homepage - http://bsnlmmsc.in:8514/
  Phone IP address - Automatic
  Proxy server address - 10.210.10.11
  Proxy port number - 8080


For Nokia 3650, 3660, 6600, 6630, 7650, E50, E61, N70, N73,

bsnlwap Settings:

1. Press the Menu button. Scroll to Services and press Select.
2. Press the Options button on the left-hand side and scroll down to Settings and press Select.
3. Under the Default access point, press Options, select Change. Press
    Options and scroll down to select New access point: Use default settings.
4. Key in the following:
    Connection Name: bsnlwap
    Data bearer: Choose GPRS
    Access point name:  bsnlwap
    User name: nil
    Prompt password: No
    Password: nil
    Authentication: Normal
    Homepage: http://wap.cellone.in
         Press the Options button and go to Advanced settings
5. Under the Advanced settings, key in the following:
    Phone IP address: Automatic
    Do not key in anything for Primary name server, Second name server
    Proxy serv. Address: 10.220.67.131
    Proxy port number: 8080
6. To launch homepage, make sure that bsnlwap has been selected as the default access point. Go to Services, select bsnlwap, press the Options button and select Download. You can start using bsnlwap.
  

bsnlnet Settings (GPRS):

1. Press the Menu button. Scroll to Services and press Select.
2. Press the Options button on the left-hand side and scroll down to Settings and press Select.
3. Under the Default access point, press Options, select Change. Press     Options and scroll down to select New access point: Use default settings.
4. Key in the following:
    Connection Name: bsnlnet
    Data bearer: Choose GPRS
    Access point name: bsnlnet
    User name: nil
    Prompt password: No
    Password: nil
    Authentication: Normal
    Homepage: what ever you like google etc.
         Press the Options button and go to Advanced settings
5. Under the Advanced settings, key in the following:
    Phone IP address: Automatic
    Do not key in anything for Primary name server,
 Second name server
    Proxy serv. Address: none
    Proxy port number: 0
6. To launch homepage, make sure that bsnlnet has been     selected as the default access point. Go to Services, select bsnlnet   press the Options button and select Download. You can start using    bsnlnet

Bsnlportal settings :

1. Press the Menu button. Scroll to Services and press Select.
2. Press the Options button on the left-hand side and scroll down to
    Settings and press Select.
3. Under the Default access point, press Options, select Change. Press Options and scroll down to select New access point: Use default settings.
4. Key in the following:
    Connection Name: bsnlportal
    Data bearer: Choose GPRS
    Access point name: bsnlportal
    User name: nil
    Prompt password: No
    Password: nil
    Authentication: Normal
    Homepage: http://wap.cellone.in
    Press the Options button and go to-> Advanced settings
5. Under the Advanced settings, key in the following:
    Phone IP address: Automatic
    Do not key in anything for Primary name server, Second name server
    Proxy serv. Address: 10.220.67.131
    Proxy port number: 8080
6. To launch homepage, make sure that bsnlportal has been     selected as the default access point. Go to Services, select ‘bsnlportal’,     press the Options button and select Download. You can start using     BSNL PORTAL.

bsnlmms Settings:

1  From the Main menu, select Messaging, then press Options and select Settings.
2  Select Multimedia message and press Options and select Open.
3  Select Access point in use -> Press Options -> New Access point : use default settings.
      Then type the following:
i) Connection name – bsnlmms
ii) Data bearer - GPRS
iii)APN GPRS : bsnlmms
iv) Username - nil
v) Prompt Password - No
vi) Password – nil
vii) Authentication - Normal
viii) Homepage - http://bsnlmmsc.in:8514/
4 Press Options -> choose 'Advanced Settings and key in the following:
 Phone IP address - Automatic
 Primary name server - ( leave blank )
 Second name server - ( leave blank )
 Proxy server address - 10.210.10.11
 Proxy port number - 8080
5 To send MMS , go to Messaging -> Select New message. Press Options and Select
    Create Message -> Multimedia message.
    Type message in text or insert image/sound clip if needed.
    Send message to B number or e-mail.
